To make a dial-up connection by using X.25
- Open Network Connections.
- Double-click New Connection Wizard, and then click Next.
- In Network Connection Type, click Connect to the Internet or Connect to the network at my workplace, and then click Next.
- In Network Connection, click Connect using a dial-up modem or Dial-up connection, and then click Next.
- Follow the instructions in the New Connection wizard.
- When the wizard is finished, right-click the new connection, and then click Properties.
- On the Options tab, click X.25.
- In Network, click your X.25 network provider.
- In X.121 address, type the X.121 address (the X.25 equivalent of a phone number) for the server you want to call.
- If required by the X.25 host computer, in User Data, type additional connection information.
- In Facilities, type any additional facility options you want to request from your X.25 provider. (For example, some providers support the /r option to specify reverse charging.)

- To enable automatic dialing for all users, create a connection, save your user name and password for all users, and then enable Internet Connection Sharing for the new connection.
